Europe needs to 'sort out currency'

David Cameron is in Paris for urgent talks with the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, about the eurozone crisis.

The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, has said it will take years to resolve and she is calling for a fiscal union with tighter rules for governments that use the single currency.

Speaking on a visit to the Humber Bridge, the Chancellor, George Osborne, welcomed the idea of more economic co-operation in Europe.
