Eurozone crisis: European Central Bank to meet

The European Central Bank is due to meet on interest rates, and may announce measures to support eurozone banks.

Some suggest that it should play a bigger role in helping countries which are struggling to pay off their huge debts.

Meanwhile European Union officials are preparing for a key summit in Brussels, where they will try to decide on how to tackle the debt crisis.

The BBC's Chris Morris reports from Frankfurt.
