RBS reveals pre-tax losses of £766m in 2011

The Royal Bank of Scotland has reported a pre-tax loss of £766m - its fourth year of losses since the bank's bailout in 2008.

It comes after chief executive Stephen Hester turned down his bonus of nearly £1m following political pressure. He told the BBC the bank can still succeed.

Brian Milligan reports.
