House hunting in Hamptons as US market remains depressed

It is expected that the US housing index will show a slide in the value of homes in America.

Despite recent gains in the number of home sales and in employment the housing market remains depressed.

For the first time, America's wealthiest families are now losing their homes at a faster rate than any other group.
