Marks and Spencer to launch in-store banking

Marks and Spencer has announced it will launch a bank this summer and it is being backed by HSBC.

Fifty M&S Bank branches will open in stores across the UK over the next two years and current accounts will be available from the autumn.

Colin Kersley, the chief executive of the new M&S Bank, says by combining the skills of M&S and HSBC it can provide something different for M&S customers.
