1,700 apply for eight Costa Coffee jobs

UK unemployment fell again in the three months to December 2012, but in many parts of the UK jobless figures remained stagnant and it is still a real struggle for jobseekers to find work.

In Nottingham a new branch of Costa Coffee recently received 1,700 applications for just eight positions, as Rebecca Sheeran reports.
