Can women plug the engineering skills gap?

The UK Business Secretary Vince Cable has suggested that more women should go into engineering to help solve the skills shortage in a vital part of the British economy and also end the idea that engineering is a dirty hands business for men with a lot of pens hanging out of their shirt pockets.

Nine out of 10 engineers are men. But need it always be like that? Sima Kotecha reports for Newsnight.
