Russia markets itself to the East

As the future of the US and most European economies remain unclear, more and more investors continue to look to Asia for growth.

Russia, though, is one country that straddles both east and west.

While supporters of Russia's President Vladimir Putin celebrate a year since he was re-elected in Moscow this week, business and political leaders from the capital were on a roadshow to drum up investment.

Moscow Deputy Mayor Andrei Sharonov led the delegation to Singapore. He told Ali Moore that his city has a huge economy, with an increasing focus on high-technology, transportation and telecommunications.
