Unauthorised buildings being demolished in Mumbai

Following the recent collapse of an illegal housing block in Mumbai that killed 74 people, authorities have launched a new campaign against such unauthorised buildings.

Such properties are now being demolished across the city, reports the BBC's Sameer Hashmi.

Yet with an estimated 500,000 unauthorised buildings across the Mumbai region, officials face a long battle.
