TalkTalk chief 'optimistic' despite sales fall
Telecoms operator TalkTalk has reported a fall in pre-tax profits and revenues.
TalkTalk, which has four million broadband customers in the UK, revealed a fall in its pre-tax profits from £127 million in 2012, to £122 million this year.
Last year the business attracted criticism for its customer service record and a fine for cold calling.
However, the company has added 150,000 new customers to its TV business.
Talk Talk chief executive Dido Harding admitted that challenges remain but insisted the company has improved its performance.
