Employment minister: 'Job opportunities are out there'
UK unemployment has fallen by 5,000, according to new figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Its data indicated 2.51 million people were out of work in the three months to April. The jobless rate was unchanged from three months earlier, at 7.8%.
Employment minister Mark Hoban told the BBC that there were "some positive signs" but also "deep-seated challenges" in the push to increase employment.
But he insisted: "There are opportunities out there".
