Sir Mervyn King's decade at the Bank of England
For the last decade, Sir Mervyn King has been the Governor of the Bank of England at the helm throughout the financial crisis.

Clarification: In the first line of her piece Stephanie Flanders says that Sir Mervyn has been a familiar face at the Bank of England for over 30 years. His formal association only started in 1990 when he became a non-executive director of the Bank.
