EU chief says economic and social challenges lie ahead

EU Internal Market Commissioner Michel Barnier has told the BBC that he thinks the peak of the global financial crisis has passed.

But speaking to the BBC's Joe Lynam, Mr Barnier warned that the wider crisis in Europe was still not over and that Europe's leaders now needed to deliver on their promises.
