Davos 2014: Cameron insists UK recovery 'to benefit north and south'

A sustained economic recovery must be one which is balanced between "north and south", David Cameron has said.

Speaking ahead of a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the prime minister said that recovery would take time.

A number of economies are seeing signs of recovery but there are fears that the gap between the rich and poor is widening.
