Homeware chain sees 'Aldi effect' in recession
The UK economy grew at its fastest rate in 2013 since before the financial crisis, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
But have ordinary businesses seen this positive growth on the ground?
Chris Dawson, founder and owner of house and garden discount chain The Range, says although spending confidence has risen, his sector has seen the "Lidl and Aldi effect."
He told BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire: "Good news out there does unlock investment from the ordinary punter... but they want value for money."
