China's Shandong Airlines makes $4bn Boeing order

China-based Shandong Airlines says it has placed an order for 50 Boeing 737 aircraft, worth over $4bn.

It comes as Boeing prepares to unveil quarterly earnings that are expected to fall short of expectations.
