Durian: The fruit that generates extreme reactions

If you live in Asia you'll know all about the durian - the so called king of fruits - loved and loathed in equal measure.

It's the pungent smell that many people object to, while others laud the taste.

But durian trade is big business. Singapore imported 23,000 tonnes of the fruit last year and they can cost as much as $30 (£18) each.

As part of our special series "Taste of Asia", Babita Sharma went to the streets of Singapore to find out what all the fuss is about.
