India's labour law reforms anger unions

Labour law reforms giving small firms more freedom to hire and fire have prompted protests among union members in Mumbai.

The government says the overhaul will help businesses be more competitive, but with regular industrial action already a problem at some of India's biggest firms, these changes may prove hard to push through.
