Tesco accused of delaying payments to suppliers

Tesco is to face an investigation into its relations with suppliers amid concerns that it breached the Groceries Supply Code of Practice.

The newly-created Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA) will look at allegations that the supermarket giant treated its suppliers unfairly.

Tesco's profits and delays in payments to suppliers will be looked into.
