New Zealand dairy products in poison threat
Chinese orders for New Zealand infant formula milk are being cut back because of threats to poison the product by "criminal blackmailers".
The threats are part of a campaign to stop farmers using 1080, a poison used to control vermin.
New Zealand authorities said they are restricting access to 1080 and are carrying out thousands of tests to ensure that products are not contaminated.
The dairy industry accounts for almost a third of the country's exports, and China is it's biggest export market. Now, China is demanding all infant formula from New Zealand is tested before it's sold.
