Addis Ababa's modern light railway is big infrastructure boost
In the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa there has been much excitement surrounding the recent opening of a modern urban light railway or tram service.
The urban railway project, which cost $475m (£308m), was partly funded by China's Exim Bank and has been touted as the solution to the city's growing road transport problems.
From Addis Ababa, the BBC's Emmanuel Igunza asks if other African cities could learn from this development.
