Bank of England says EU makes UK economy more dynamic

Membership of the EU has made the UK economy more dynamic and able to grow without generating inflation or a financial crisis, according to a Bank of England report.

But speaking at an event in Oxford, the Bank's governor, Mark Carney, said he would not pass judgement on the merits of EU membership, adding that there were negatives to go along with the positives.
