South Africa's steel industry calls for import tariffs

Cheap exports of Chinese steel have caused increasing accusations of "dumping" - where imported steel is sold for less than steel produced by domestic manufacturers.

It has become a hot political issue in Europe and also in South Africa, where steelmakers want tariffs slapped on imported steel from China.
