450,000 extra primary school places 'needed by 2015'

They're being dubbed 'super-primaries', schools with more than 1,000 pupils, and there are growing numbers of them in England as councils try to tackle the lack of primary school places.

Across England, more than 450,000 extra places will be needed by 2015, partly as a result of a baby boom.

It is thought that number will rise to around 800,000 by 2020.
