Gove calls for teachers from 'wider variety of backgrounds'
Many primary schools in England are dominated by female teachers. In 2011, one in four primaries did not have a single male member of staff.
Now there's some suggestion things are starting to change. The Education Secretary, Michael Gove, has said that more should be done to open up the profession.
