Will Brexit affect UK score in Eurovision Song Contest?

Some nations struggling within the EU may take pity on Britain and back its Eurovision entry this weekend, according to an author who has written about the song contest.

Chris West looked at the UK's recent poor performance in the annual event and whether Brexit could help or hinder its chances.

He spoke to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn and journalists Polly Toynbee and Christian May, after they watched a montage of some Eurovision highlights.
