Elton John and David Furnish on changing Shakespeare

Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish were among the stars to attend the UK premiere of their new film Gnomeo and Juliet at London's Leicester Square.

The executive producer and producer of the 3D animation were joined by the film's cast members, Emily Blunt, Stephen Merchant and Matt Lucas.

Sir Elton said by changing the ending of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet he was able to make "the greatest love story ever told".
