Love letters of British soldiers through the ages

One of the most difficult aspects of military life is the time spent apart from loved ones.

The issue is the focus of a new exhibition which is opening at the National Army Museum in London.

Called Wives and Sweethearts, it looks at the unique challenges war places on a relationship.

BBC News spoke to the exhibition's curator and the wife of an officer who recently returned from Afghanistan.
