Blue Peter touches down in Salford

The BBC's children's TV programme Blue Peter has broadcast from its new home in Salford for the first time with a new set and a remixed theme tune.

The presenters were shown making a dramatic arrival to their new studio, with Helen Skelton landing at MediaCityUK in a helicopter and Barney Harwood pulling up on a jet ski.
