George Clooney scoops best actor award

George Clooney has accepted the best actor award at the Hollywood Film Awards for his role in The Descendants.

He said he felt "very lucky" to be honoured with the award and lucky to have starred on the hit television show ER.

"I'm lucky to have gotten a part like this, which is a once in a lifetime chance," he said.
