John Grisham: 'I didn't like being a lawyer'

Best selling author John Grisham left his career as a lawyer over 20 years ago and went on to write 25 novels.

Nine of his books have been made into feature films and although he says he did not enjoy being a lawyer, the majority of his stories are based on happenings in the world of the law.

His latest book, The Litigators, tells the story of a small firm hoping to cash in on a big legal case against a wealthy pharmaceutical company.

He told BBC Breakfast the story is based on "sleazy behaviour" of some lawyers in the US.
