Lady Gaga refused permit for Jakarta concert

Indonesian police have refused to issue a permit for a Lady Gaga concert scheduled to take place in Jakarta next month.

The move came amid concerns about security. Islamic groups had objected to the show, claiming it was too vulgar.

The hardline Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) threatened to intercept the US singer at the airport and a spokesman accused her of being a "messenger of Satan".

The BBC's Mishal Husain reports.
