Director Wes Anderson 'inspired by fantasy romance'
Wes Anderson has opened this year's Cannes Film Festival with his new movie Moonrise Kingdom - a tale of childhood romance set against the backdrop of a scouting camp.
He told The BBC's Rebecca Jones that the film's plot was inspired by his own "12-year-old romance that didn't happen".
He said he combined his fantasy with a backdrop of an "isolated summer community" in an America that "no longer exists".
