Sir Trevor Nunn directs 'Shakespeare musical' Kiss Me Kate

Sir Trevor Nunn's revival of Kiss Me, Kate is the first musical The Old Vic has staged since Kevin Spacey became its artistic director.

Nunn has drawn on a wealth of experience to direct the Chichester Festival Theatre co-production. He has directed 30 William Shakespeare productions and 20 musicals including Les Miserables and Cats.

Stars of the cast told BBC News that the director gave a Shakespeare masterclass on day one of rehearsals.
