Hunger Games leads People's Choice Awards

The Hunger Games film has topped the People's Choice Awards picking up five honours, including favourite movie of the year and favourite on-screen chemistry.

Jennifer Lawrence, who stars in the film as Katniss Everdeen, scooped the favourite movie actress award, while Robert Downey Jr was crowned the People's Choice favourite movie actor for his role in Avengers Assemble.

Other winners at the ceremony included Jennifer Aniston for best comedy actress, Emma Watson for her role in Perks of Being a Wallflower and Taylor Swift was named favourite country artist.
