Great Gatsby cast bring party to opening night of Cannes Film Festival
Baz Luhrmann and the cast of The Great Gatsby have put on a show as the film opened the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
The movie, based on F Scott Fitzgerald's novel, also stars British actress Carey Mulligan.
Early reviews have been mixed, although DiCaprio has been praised in the central role as bootlegger Jay Gatsby.
The cast were joined on the soggy red carpet by a team of energetic flapper dancers.
