Great Gatsby has world premiere in New York
The world premiere of the eagerly awaited film The Great Gatsby has taken place in New York.
It is an attempt to transform F Scott Fitzgerald's 1920's story of obsessive love, empty lives and wealth into a stylish modern entertainment.
The film, directed by Baz Luhrmann, stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan.
