Miley Cyrus says she is thinking of herself as a new artist ahead of the release of her latest single We Can't Stop.

But the 20-year-old, who became famous playing Disney star Hannah Montana, admits she is a new artist with an established fan base.

The singer also says she never went off the rails, as she never pretended to be like her "squeaky clean" character on the Disney TV show.
