Europe's largest public library officially opened by Malala
She was shot in the head by the Taliban on her school bus in Pakistan - for daring to campaign about girls' rights to education.
Less than a year after the attack that nearly killed her, Malala Yousafzai officially opened Europe's largest public library in Birmingham.
Malala made a speech at the inauguration in which she said "I have challenged myself that i will read thousands of books and i will empower myself with knowledge".
The building cost nearly £200m to build and holds a million books.
