David Miliband on wages, unions and his father

Former Foreign Secretary David Miliband has spoken on The Andrew Marr Show regarding proposals for a 'living wage', Labour's relationship with the unions and the Daily Mail's coverage of his father.

On wages, Mr Miliband said proposals announced by his brother, Labour leader Ed Miliband, were part of a progressive politics being "picked up" across the EU, the US and the UK.

He added his brother was also "right" to say he would reform the Labour party's relationship with the unions, in the light of the vote-rigging claims in Falkirk and the dispute in Grangemouth.

Mr Miliband also described The Daily Mail's brandishing of his father as 'the man who hated Britain' as "hateful".
