Alan Davies 'hugely ashamed' over Lord McAlpine tweet
Comedian Alan Davies has said he was "hugely ashamed" after retweeting a post wrongly linking Tory peer Lord McAlpine's name to a TV report on paedophilia.
He has already made a public apology and a donation to the NSPCC in an attempt to make amends.
Davies told BBC Radio 5 live's Richard Bacon: "I was hugely ashamed because I made such a stupid mistake."
