Penelope Keith made dame in New Year Honours

Actress Penelope Keith said she was "delighted" to have been made a dame in the New Year Honours list.

The 73-year-old, who starred in BBC sitcoms The Good Life and To The Manor Born, was honoured for services to the arts and to charity.
