Director Steve McQueen: 'Awards don't matter'

The Producers Guild Awards took place in Beverley Hills on Sunday night.

The films Gravity and 12 years a slave were the front-runners as they both secured the award for best film.

The guild awards are often tipped for correctly picking the film that has gone on to win best Oscar.

The 25th annual awards ceremony was held on Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton.

Despite the Oscar buzz around 12 years a Slave, actor Chiwetel Ejiofor and director Steve McQueen told reporters they are not worried about winning awards.
