Back to University for Oscar winner Cate Blanchett

Oscar winning actress Cate Blanchett returned to University to receive an honorary degree at the Macquarie University in Sydney.

The 45-year-old academy award winner was recognised for her contribution to the arts, philanthropy and community and received a Doctor of letters as a result.

Blanchett talked about the importance of the arts in everyday life.
