Hawking film premiere: 'At times I thought he was me'

World famous physicist Professor Stephen Hawking is to attend the premiere of a new film about his life.

The Theory of Everything is based on a book by his first wife Jane Wilde Hawking and charts their life together after they met at Cambridge University in the early 1960s.

Will Gompertz spoke to Professor Hawking and the actor who plays him, Eddie Redmayne.

The Theory of Everything, directed by James Marsh, is out in the UK on 1 January.
