New Radio 4 play looks at impact of Grace Archer death
The world's longest-running radio drama, The Archers, has been entertaining listeners for 65 years, but the show's most shocking moment came on 22 September 1955 when millions of listeners were left stunned by the death of Grace Archer.
That broadcast and the impact it had, is the subject of a new play - Dead Girls Tell No Tales - set to be broadcast on Radio 4.
BBC Breakfast's Tim Muffett reports.
Dead Girls Tell No Tales will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Saturday 19th September at 2:30pm.
