Sampha wins Mercury Prize for his debut album, Process

Soul singer Sampha has been awarded the 2017 Hyundai Mercury Prize for his debut album, Process.

The singer, who for a long time was better known as a guest vocalist on other people's records, beat Ed Sheeran and Stormzy to win the prize.
