Sadie Frost: My father's death

Sadie Frost became a patron of the Hepatitis C Trust, external after her father, artist David Vaughan, died of the disease.

At an event held for people with hepatitis C at a London bowling alley, she spoke to the BBC series Cause Celeb about the growing problem presented by the blood-borne virus.

The actress was joined by several celebrity supporters of the charity, including drag queen and DJ Jodi Harsh and actors Jimi Mistry and Ray Panthaki, who helped serve an early Christmas dinner to 100 people with the virus.

Frost told the BBC she felt guilty after her father died in 2003, and supporting the Hepatitis C Trust was a way of giving something back.
