Lansley: "We want to improve quality" in the NHS

The Health Secretary Andrew Lansley has brushed off a verbal attack from protesters who hurled insults at him as he arrived for a meeting at Downing Street.

Mr Lansley said the abuse was nothing more than "sticks and stones" and it would not distract him from the key task of implementing reforms to the way the National Health Service was managed.
