Star Wars actor on his battle with prostate cancer

Actor David Prowse, who played the original Darth Vader in the Star Wars films, has told BBC breakfast how being diagnosed with prostate cancer took him by surprise.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer to affect men in the UK.

Around 37,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK each year, with nearly a quarter of cases affecting men aged between 40 and 65.

He was joined by chief executive of The Prostate Cancer Charity, Owen Sharp, who says more men need to be made aware and tested.
